Olmi company was born from an idea or rather from the need for innovation and mechanization of work in the vineyard during the early 70s.

In fact, Mr. Franco Olmi, also owner of vineyards, builds for his own use an inter-row hoeing disc to be combined with the tractor and which could speed up work in the vineyard, saving long hours of manual work.

The winemakers of the area impressed by the speed and excellent work of the machine, asked Mr. Olmi to build others for their vineyards.

OLMI was born from that day

In the beginning as a small company in the Asti area and then expanded into Italy and Europe. In recent years, new non-EEC markets have opened up, thanks to the collaboration with reliable importers who are leaders in the sector.
