DESCRIPTION

The Olmi Vineyard Mechanical Weeder removes the turf between the plants and at the same time removes the vegetation on the vine stock.

We therefore obtain a double job: elimination of weeds surrounding the plant and desuckering of the stock.

The Mechanical Weeder is equipped with a roller inclined at 15° with respect to the row, to operate on a wider work area. In this way only a small part of the roller acts on the plant to avoid damage and make the work more delicate; the remaining part of the roller acts on the grass instead.

The rotation of the roller takes place mechanically via cardan shaft, while the three movements are hydraulically adjusted: the height of the frame, the lateral movement and the height of the working band.

The hydraulic movements and the frame structure have been designed to allow fast and precise movements even when the space between one stump and another is small. The exclusive roller is characterized by the built-in thread reserve which allows you to work on large surfaces and reduce the waste of the thread to a minimum; the wire can be pulled out as needed.

An additional roller is supplied upon request to increase the working width towards the center of the row; with the application of the supplementary roller a working width of cm is obtained. 500 mm. The Mechanical Weeeder is available in four width models depending on the tractor used; moreover, a larger frame is available with greater lateral movement to be able to work comfortably even in orchards.

The Mechanical Weeder adapts very well to any condition of the vineyard; especially on hills where working conditions are more difficult and irregular.

The characteristics of this tool that distinguish it on the market are the extreme respect for the stumps, the work performed is delicate and precise.

Furthermore, the operating speed and the solidity of the structure make it an ideal tool for both small and large companies.

The use of the Olmi Brushcutter improves working conditions in the vineyard, as it also totally replaces the use of chemical herbicides. The action exerted by the line on the grass allows to delay its regrowth. It therefore contributes to facilitating in particular the processing in Biofarms, which are constantly increasing.

The Olmi Mechanical Weeder performs a quality job without any risk for the plant. The Brushcutter does a double job: it eliminates the suckers on the vine stock, and it eliminates the grass surrounding the plant. The particular thread-holder roller has an inclination of 15° with respect to the row, to facilitate the suckering process on the stump, obtaining a more delicate processing. Particularly suitable for hilly working and in plants with low stumps, it allows agile and safe work in respect of the plants. It is possible to apply an additional roller which allows to increase the working width. Eliminate the use of chemical herbicides.
